This opportunity is for planners who want to contribute to significant developments while enjoying a clear pathway for long-term career growth.

About the Role: You will be responsible for liaising with clients and project consultants, preparing development applications, and attending meetings and consultation sessions.
This role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with Directors and senior managers.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, coordinate, and manage Development Applications and planning advice.
Write planning reports, policy submissions, and respond to authority information requests.
Attend and contribute to community consultation activities.
Provide recommendations on planning matters and resolve issues within a team environment.
Prepare quotes and reports on assessment and regulatory matters.
Maintain and enhance relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Attend site visits, client meetings, and ensure projects comply with legislation.
Monitor relevant legislation and ensure projects are compliant with all regulations.
Identify and implement business systems and process improvements.
Ensure timely and efficient management of development applications and keep clients updated on progress.
Attend industry events and participate in industry bodies.

Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in town planning or a related field.
Proven experience with development assessment and environmental planning legislation.
Demonstrated English language skills to minimum standard IELTS Band 6 or equivalent.
Strong technical knowledge of relevant Acts and statutory controls.
Demonstrated experience liaising with clients and community representatives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write comprehensive planning reports.
Commitment to continuous improvement and workplace change.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Valid Class C driver's licence.
