The Opportunity: Are you a strategic thinker with a mechanical aptitude and an eye for detail?
Komatsu is seeking a Planner & Customer Support Sales Representative to join our team in Whyalla.
This unique dual-role position requires around 80% planning and 20% on-the-road sales.
You'll play a crucial role in forecasting, supporting maintenance programs, and driving customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Planning & ForecastingOversee and forecast R&M care maintenance programs.Perform data entry and manage R&M care documentation.Track and manage component returns, ensuring completed components are logged with accuracy.Maintain and update forecasts for 46 pieces of equipment, including models such as HD785, HD1500, WA500, WA600, WA900, D375, PC1250, and PC4000.Utilise Excel at an intermediate level to manage data.Proactively follow up outstanding tasks and coordinate updates effectively.Collaborate with customers to sell non-reman components, focusing on parts and service opportunities.Achieve targeted forecasts for both parts and service sales.Conduct quoting and develop customer relationships to support Komatsu's products and services.Be responsive to on-call needs and provide on-site customer support.Qualifications & Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude (trade background not required).Experience with mining equipment components.Intermediate proficiency in Excel.Ability to work autonomously and meet forecasting goals.Effective communication skills for engaging with clients and coordinating with teams.Willingness to be on-call as part of a rotating schedule.Role Located: Whyalla
