Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) has partnered with Sydney Water to deliver design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4S Program in Sydney Water's Southern Region of Sydney. We are delivering water for our customers, to protect Sydney's iconic way of life and leave a legacy for future generations.
Over a 10-year period, D4C will provide long term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people of the southern region of Sydney as well as creating pathways to enter the water industry.

What are we looking for? We have identified an exciting opportunity for a Planner to join D4C and be employed with either John Holland or Service Stream.
The role will entail: You will be responsible for preparing project schedules and plans covering the full project scope and all phases, as well as optimisation of schedules to ensure delivery of projects are meeting objectives, timelines and budgets.
This position will require you to liaise with key stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned, including; both client and contractor Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Engineers,&Supervisors.
Responsibilities include: Develop and maintain project schedules in compliance with standard scheduling requirements.Identify project key milestones and critical paths, and incorporate them into the project schedule.Assist in reviewing and approving subcontractor schedules.Prepare and monitor variance reports to track progress, time, costs, and resource utilization against the project plan.Implement earned value management techniques to assess project performance with focus on improving CPI/SPI.Participate in project reviews and provide timely feedback and support to key stakeholders to ensure consistent performance quality.Resource load and cost load project schedules to accurately reflect resource and cost allocations.Prepare and analyse extension of time requests using various methods as necessary.Conduct regular site visits (min once per week), particularly in the Calderwood/Wollongong area and surrounding regions, to monitor project progress and engage with the construction team.Maintain comprehensive records of program changes with each update.Collaborate with the project team to conduct value analysis and constructability reviews.Monitor the cost, schedule, and performance of the project, critical suppliers, and procurement items.Supervise the development of design deliverables, plans, documents, and construction activities.Assess productivity rates and track progress.Get involved in project risk workshops and running SRA on programmeConduct what-if scenario analyses to anticipate future risks and enhance project productivity.In depth involvement in project scope and deliverablesThis position will need you to work effectively under pressure and in a reactive environment, you will need to have strong relationship management and communication skills.
As well as the above mentioned skills you will need to have: Recent work experience in a similar positionQualification in engineering or related fieldKnowledge of current StandardsSystems experience; Primavera and MS OfficeGreat technical/analytical skills (NEC4 contract experience looked upon favourably)Good communication skills and working in an integrated team environmentHighly motivated, eager to learn and loyalWhat's next?
