KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for a PLANNER for a significant and long-term project based in South Australia. This role will be FIFO working a 2:1 roster with POH any capital city in Australia.
Key Responsibilities Update scheduling program to record site progress. Prepare short term detailed look ahead programs i.e., the 3 weeks look ahead. Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required by the Project Manager. Identify slippages in the program and prepare recovery schedules from onsite inspections. Prepare daily productivity reports and identify by exception areas where progress and productivity are outside of agreed performance parameters. Prepare reports on operations identifying issues which may impact upon achievement of site progress in conjunction with the Project Manager. Assist with the maximization of plant, equipment, and labour utilization in conjunction with the Project Manager. Liaise with logistic team to quantify material availability. Assist with ensuring all costs are accounted for accurately costed and within the budget. Liaise with senior management and pro-actively implement change as necessary to ensure work is completed on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. Ensure timely and accurate progress reports are produced. Liaise with client regarding difficulties and strive to achieve mutually agreeable outcomes. Coordinate with subordinates and peers by providing a source of advice and assistance to enable them to successfully fulfil their duties. Assist with facilitating the continuous improvement of occupational health and safety, productivity, and quality. Assist with implementation of systems, controls, and training to ensure labour productivity is within budget. About You Demonstrated proficiency as a Planner ideally having worked in mining, Oil & Gas or heavy industry and construction You resume will clearly outline your experience and ability to manage project schedules effectively using P6, identify enhance project execution methods and generate S-curves and reports based on the P6 schedule Formal training and proficiency in Primavera P6 (essential) Strong organisational ability with time management, attention to detail and problem solving capabilities Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
