Previous experience in a similar role within the civil construction industryProven background in the programming of complex construction projectsStrong verbal and written communication skillsA high level of organisation and time management skillsExcellent attention to detailThe ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAble to demonstrate working knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Project and Advanced Excel skillsCommercial experience with variations and claims for delayExposure to earned value management and reportingExperience in resource loading and man hour collationExperience in the use of 4D Planning desirable, but not essentialAbility to write routine reports, basis of program reports, identify program risks and correspondenceAbility to problem solve and research innovative ways to reduce costs through efficient programmingWhat you'll do (but not limited to):Review construction drawings and specifications to develop a strong understanding of the project scope, task durations and project deadlinesLiaise with management to determine the sequencing required to complete the project scopeSupport the project team in identifying opportunities to reduce time, advise of any risks against key milestones, and provide assurance on achieving the key datesProvide early warning notices to project team on delays and the likely effects of delaysPrepare engaging weekly and monthly reporting including Earned Value metrics using SPI (Schedule Performance Index), CPI (Cost Performance Index) and SV (Schedule Variance) analysisIdentifying ways of optimising the program through detailed analysis to develop terminal float to mitigate any liquated damages and delay impactsEnsure that a reliable and credible overall project program incorporating design, approvals, procurement, off site fabrication and delivery, construction, testing and commissioning is developed and achieves the completion objectives of the ProjectPrepare accompanied basis of schedule documentation for client review and approval to establish baseline program assumptionsEnsure that credible Earned Values are produced for the monthly progress updatesReview all subcontractors and suppliers' programs to ensure that the subcontractor's full scope is covered and that their programs align with the baseline program requirementsPrepare resource and manning analysis to be included in cost estimate and assumptionsDevelop time-phase budget in line with the delivery model and how productivity is planned through the different phases of the projectOur best offer:Competitive salary package plus site allowance and retention bonus (full time option)Growing business with career development opportunitiesPaid parental leave and flexible work arrangements availableFriendly and supportive work environmentThe opportunity to work with a diverse and engaged group of peopleGeorgiou is committed to an inclusive workforce and welcomes applications from candidates from culturally diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities, people who identify as LGBTIQ+ and people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent.
