Join NGH as a Planner and play a vital role in delivering high-quality planning services to clients across Victoria.
Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you'll contribute to meaningful projects that shape the future of communities and environments.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to deepen your expertise in planning environmental management while working on diverse and impactful projects in a dynamic industry.
Any day may see you: In this role, you'll prepare planning application documentation, including Planning Assessments and reports, while providing planning advice to clients and stakeholders under supervision.
You'll engage with government agencies, clients, and other stakeholders to advance project work and collaborate with specialists to review subconsultants reports.
Your day may also involve contributing to multidisciplinary projects, ensuring tasks are delivered within deadlines and budget constraints, and supporting tender and proposal preparation to help secure new opportunities.
Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat we are looking for: A tertiary qualification in planning, environment science, or a related disciplineLegislative KnowledgeAn understanding of the Planning and Environmental Act 1987, Victorian Planning Schemes, and an appreciation of the Environmental Effects Act 1978Communication SkillsStrong interpersonal and written communication abilities to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Task ManagementDemonstrated ability to manage tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines and budget constraints.A team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in environmental planning.Commitment to ValuesAlignment with NGH's core values of Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and IntegrityDrawing on diverse and innovative experience of 30 years, NGH provides sustainable knowledge-based solutions to a variety of private and public sector clients.
