We are excited to offer the role of a Production Scheduler at our Braeside Manufacturing Plant The primary purpose of the Production Scheduler is to create and manage production schedules that ensure the timely and efficient production of goods.
This involves planning the sequence of production activities, allocating resources, and monitoring the progress of production operations.
The scheduler aims to balance the production capacity with demand, optimise the use of materials and labour, and maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer requirements without overproducing.
By doing so, the Production Scheduler helps the company achieve its operational goals, enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure customer satisfaction through the on-time delivery of products.
Responsibilities include: Create detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules that align with company goals and customer demands, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products.
Track inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent overproduction and stockouts, ensuring that materials are available as needed to meet production demands.
Collect and analyse production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, using this information to adjust schedules and improve overall production efficiency.
Liaise with operations, quality, sourcing, and the broader planning teams to gather information, coordinate schedules, and resolve any interdepartmental issues that may impact production timelines.
