This is a full-time role based predominantly in Orange, NSW.
You'll work closely with teams across engineering, project management, and site management.
Responsibilities Establish communication with the project team to receive weekly status of works and physical progress data. Perform weekly updates of project schedule, communicate changes in critical path, milestone dates and highlight delays and potential schedule slippages to the Project Manager. Prepare look ahead schedules to support site construction operations. Identify risks and opportunities in construction schedules resulting from methodology, weather, resourcing or other factors and ensure schedules have provided for these in full. Undertake software conversions to suit client deliverable needs. Understand project systems and procedures so that they are recognised in construction schedules and to identify and recommend improvements. Essential Skills and Attributes Tertiary degree, preferably in either Civil Engineering or Project Management. Proven experience in the construction industry. Proven competency with industry standard planning software - Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject – is essential.
Time chainage software such as TILOS or TurboChart – is desirable. Able to collaboratively develop and manage complex programmes. Clear communicator with ability to establish relationships at all levels of the organisation. Exposure to Schedule Reliability Analysis, Last Planner, Critical Path Methodology, Design Planning, Earned Value Management, Schedule Risk Analysis, Forensic Planning. Experience performing planning and scheduling of major projects is desirable. Competent in all MS Office applications. What's next?
