About the role: A highly rewarding opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our Placements Administration Officer!
The Placements Admin Officer undertakes the full range of administrative activities to support student placements with employers, including logistics, placement contracts, placement bookings, documentation, communication with students and employers, student records, reporting, and compliance documentation.
Their key accountabilities are prepare and execute placement contracts, handle student and employer enquiries, manage student and employer documentation, organise and communicate placement logistics and ensure that records are compliant.
They work as part of a team of Senior Placement Administrators and Admin Officers who undertake administrative activities and under the direction of Placement Manager or Senior Administrators, liaise with Course Coordinators and Teachers to ensure that the placement process is efficient and effective. They are the first point of contact for student enquiries regarding placements. They are responsible for working professionally with employees at all levels across the Box Hill Institute and liaising with relevant external stakeholders, including Course Coordinators, Teachers, Employers and Students. This role is ongoing and salary is PACCT 3 $59,597 per annum (exclusive of superannuation). About You: Demonstrated experience within a similar role Experience in preparation of documents, record keeping and handling administrative enquiries Ability to respond to internal and external client needs promptly and to follow through on inquiries, request, and complaints in a timely manner Experience in working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve team goals, including excellent organisational skills, flexibility during peak periods, and ability to adapt to changing priorities is essential Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing high quality, accurate correspondence and reports to stakeholders Ability to use all MS Office applications proficiently for a range of tasks including generating letters, reports and database management is essential Knowledge of information management systems including Student One, CELCAT and Finance One, Placeright, InPlace, Network, SONIA is highly advantageous Ability to set priorities and manage to required timelines Develop and maintain required knowledge required to ensure placement governance and program, employer and student requirements Demonstrated ability to be proactive and show initiative, using judgement to consult where appropriate and take responsibility for own action Ability and eagerness to work within a busy and supportive team About Us: We are proud to be a leading education provider with a strong reputation for delivering high quality educational outcomes.
