A little about the role This is a newly created position reporting to the Business & Placements Manager, supporting the day-to-day operation of the Key Assets QLD in both Placement and Social Work Services.
You will drive placement exploration, matching and promoting a proactive response to secure placements for children and young people in a timely manner, with assistance from the Social Work team.
Other key responsibilities include: Utilise and monitor the Unify database system for referrals, offers and confirmations of placement.
Support the development of effective marketing strategies for both fostering vacancies and support opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, particularly Placement Services Units and Child Safety Service Centres at various levels.
The base salary for this position is $72,832.50 - $78,097.50 /annum (based on 1.0EFT) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum.
This position is full-time, ongoing.
About you You will come with the following: Full, clean, open driver licence.
Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) at a minimum.
High level of customer service and communication skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with analysing data and making recommendations for action.
The below would be also be highly regarded: Diploma in Social Work, Human Services or relevant industry experience.
Working knowledge of the Department of Child Safety, and relevant child protection legislation.
