General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) Full time
This position can be based in Perth or Karratha The Director of Corporate Services is a strategic leadership position within the PKKP Aboriginal Corporation (PKKP AC). Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role will drive business excellence across key operational areas, including Finance, Human Resources (HR), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Business Services. The DCS must be a highly collaborative leader with strong influencing and project management skills, with a continuous improvement focus on operational efficiency, compliance, and high-performance outcomes across all areas of responsibility, fostering strong partnerships and driving continuous improvements across these critical service-orientated functions.
This position requires an individual who thrives in consensus-driven environments and is committed to delivering high-performance team outcomes. The successful person will possess significant qualifications and experience and be able to demonstrate substantial strategic achievements across the Finance, IT and HR areas, as well as a proven track record in leading diverse teams and overseeing complex functions within a busy and developing organisation.
Skills and experience: Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Proven track record of successfully leading teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. High integrity and sound judgment in balancing legal, reputational, and financial priorities. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, HR and financial management software. Extensive experience in a senior leadership role overseeing finance, HR, ICT, and business services for a minimum of 7 years. Proven ability to manage complex functions and drive operational excellence in a multi-functional environment. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management. Strong background in HR best practices, including recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement. Knowledge of ICT systems, cybersecurity protocols, and business system integrations. Experience in the not-for-profit or indigenous community sector is a plus. Qualifications/requirements: Must be degree-qualified with a professional qualification in accounting (e.g., CPA or CA) or a related field. Business, HR, or IT are also highly desirable. Criminal History Check (recent within 3 months) – we can assist you with this. A current Working with Children's Card – we can assist you with this. A current Drivers Licence.
