The PKI Engineer's holds a pivotal role within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function. These positions are responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment. The Senior PKI Engineer collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure that PKI solutions align with security standards, and compliance regulations. Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, including certificate authorities (CAs), digital certificates, and cryptographic key management. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective PKI configurations. Configure and manage PKI components, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and security best practices. Optimize PKI solutions for scalability, performance, and security, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies. Develop and implement automations to streamline PKI operations and enhance security posture. Essential Criteria Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Extensive experience as a subject matter expert with industry leading PKI products and platforms, such as Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), Entrust, GlobalSign, or equivalent, is highly desirable. Experience in designing or implementing in a Cloud environment such as Azure or AWS. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage workload and priorities.
