About the role: We are currently recruiting an experienced and highly capable Senior Health and Safety Advisor who wants to continue their career in the mining sector with a highly reputable and growing mining company. This large-scale operation offers a challenging and dynamic work environment for you to bring your mine site health and safety exposure to. You will drive the development and implementation of health and safety systems, policies, and procedures to ensure these areas are effectively managed across the site while working closely with various departments.
About you: You will possess qualifications in health and safety or related fields with exposure to OH&S systems and frameworks within the mining industry. You will also have strong communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of stakeholders such as technical services, maintenance, operations, and management. This will be complemented by an intimate knowledge of the coal mining act and experience working in similar roles across open cut coal operations.
