The Role Kickstart your career with an exciting opportunity to complete an Apprenticeship with Pirtek Bathurst. Successful applicants will complete a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade through a combination of on the job training and online course components. Not only will you be completing a nationally recognised qualification but you will also receive full product and service training to begin your career as a Pirtek Service Technician.
In addition to undertaking the practical components of the Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade the role's General Duties will include:
Assembly of hose and fittings components Provide assistance to Mobile Service Technicians and Trade Counter Technicians Assemble components parts and follow work instructions using hand and small power tools Ensure that work is performed as per work instructions Proactively work within team environment Complete all paperwork, requirements, timesheets, job cards Assist to customers' needs at counter and on the phone You To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
A keen interest in the mechanical engineering discipline Sound language, literacy and numeracy skills Reliable and punctual Strong customer focus Ability to stay on task and take instructions well Honest, Reliable and Trustworthy An excellent work ethic Neat and tidy presentation A strong focus on workplace health and a commitment to adhere to all company policies and procedures Essential: Manual Drivers' licence
