The RoleKickstart your career with an exciting opportunity to complete an Apprenticeship with Pirtek Bathurst. Successful applicants will complete a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade through a combination of on the job training and online course components. Not only will you be completing a nationally recognised qualification but you will also receive full product and service training to begin your career as a Pirtek Service Technician.
In addition to undertaking the practical components of the Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade the role's General Duties will include:
Assembly of hose and fittings componentsProvide assistance to Mobile Service Technicians and Trade Counter TechniciansAssemble components parts and follow work instructions using hand and small power toolsEnsure that work is performed as per work instructionsProactively work within team environmentComplete all paperwork, requirements, timesheets, job cardsAssist to customers' needs at counter and on the phoneYouTo be considered for this position you will ideally have:
A keen interest in the mechanical engineering disciplineSound language, literacy and numeracy skillsReliable and punctualStrong customer focusAbility to stay on task and take instructions wellHonest, Reliable and TrustworthyAn excellent work ethicNeat and tidy presentationA strong focus on workplace health and a commitment to adhere to all company policies and proceduresEssential: Manual Drivers' licence
