As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.Position Overview:In this role, you will be performing:Prestart inspections and selection of rigging equipmentAdequately determine anchor points, lifting points and load integrityLoad securement, task evaluation, planning and executionKnowledge of rigging methods and load control, both single and multiple leg configurationsUse of chains, dunnage and chain blocksQualifications and Skills:Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in a similar position within the construction industryExperience performing dual and heavy lift is desirableHigh Risk Rigging ticket (advanced/intermediate)Be confident with weight estimation, center of gravity, load share, load turning and sling tension.Valid Working at HeightsWhite CardAbility to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screeningAdditional Information:This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
