Piping Designer

We are currently seeking a Piping Designer to join Sedgman in our Brisbane office.

What we can offer you: Flexible arrangements to help you achieve work-life balanceA focus on your professional development and opportunities to grow your career within SedgmanA collaborative focus on continuous improvement and innovation in our safety cultureA friendly and social work environmentThe role will require, although not be limited to: Prepare PFS and detailed design drawings of plant, equipment, services, or other structures as directed.Knowledge of piping and structural modelling.Plant layout knowledge.Prepare designs and detailed drawings from plans, sketches, or other design/specification data.Participate in the review of designs and advise on technical drafting difficulties or government compliance requirements as appropriate.Contribute to periodic reporting e.g., project progress; resource requirements; project budget versus cost; priorities; allocation of work; team needs.Upkeep of drawing list and percentage complete status.Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the quality management process and system.Understand Sedgman standard specifications, typical/standard drawings, and calculations/simulations to reflect current industry standards.What are we looking for? Associate Diploma in CAD / Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 3 years' experience in design/consultancy/operational environment.Autodesk base products and Bentley suite advantageous.Mining and/or metals industry experience.The right fit, not just the right skills.Skills in MS Office suite.Ability to work dynamically in a changing industry.
