About The Role:Our client is seeking talented and motivated Mechanical/Pipeline Engineers based in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, or Sydney to join their national team of industry experts. In this role, you'll contribute to innovative pipeline projects, collaborate on advanced industry research, and play a role in shaping Australian pipeline standards. Depending on your experience, this opportunity could align with Engineer, Senior, or Lead roles.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes across various project phases: concept studies, FEED, detailed engineering, and pipeline operations.Perform detailed calculations, prepare comprehensive reports, and review pipeline documentation including specifications and datasheets.Work on pipeline systems for natural gas, hydrogen, CO2, ammonia, or other mediums, focusing on facilities such as compression, delivery, and metering/regulation stations.Engage in Safety Management Study (SMS) reporting and ensure compliance with AS/NZS 2885 standards.About You:An Australian-recognised Engineering degree (mechanical preferred).Familiarity with pipeline engineering standards and practices, especially AS/NZS 2885.Experience with high-pressure pipelines, long-distance systems, or oil & gas gathering systems.Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.Passion for delivering quality engineering solutions and a commitment to client success.Desirable Skills:Chartered status (RPEQ/RPEV) or equivalent.Experience in cathodic protection, SMS facilitation, or pipeline integrity assessments.Knowledge or interest in materials, metallurgy, and advanced pipeline manufacturing techniques.Exposure to alternate fuels and fluids like hydrogen, CO2, and ammonia.The Perks!Be part of a forward-thinking team driving innovation in the pipeline industry.Collaborate with professionals shaping the future of energy and infrastructure.Enjoy growth opportunities within an organization that values learning and collaboration.If you're an engineer passionate about making a difference and solving complex challenges, we encourage you to apply.
