The position We are currently seeking an energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic Pipeline E&I Technician on a full-time permanent basis to join our Team. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the purpose of the role is to safely and efficiently execute field services works for Verbrec's operated pipelines and external clients alike. These services include:
Electrical works (LV)Cathodic Protection SurveysDCVG SurveysPLC Fault finding and programmingNon Fiscal equipment calibrationsMeter validationsRight of way SurveysWater Bath Heater maintenanceVessel inspectionsRegulator MaintenancePre-commissioning and Commissioning of pipelines and associated facilitiesAll services must be executed:
To the highest level of safety, environment, community & stakeholder requirements.To meet agreed quality, operability, schedule, and cost targets; andIn strict accordance with the relevant statutory & regulatory guidelines.About You Electrical Work License (Electrical Fitter / Electrical Mechanic)An equivalent trade certificate – Cert III in Electro TechnologyCertificate III in Process Plant Operations, Gas Supply Industry Operations or CP1 - Cathodic Protection Tester – NACE. (Desirable)Type B Industrial Gas Course – Install, commission and Maintain Type B Gas Appliances (Desirable)Experience within the gas industry will be highly regarded specifically in the areas of Electrical, instrumentation, PLC, Meter Validations, Water Bath Heaters, and EEHAExperience within the gas industry be highly regarded specifically in the areas of pipeline inspection and maintenance.A safety-first approach.Experience working in remote areas.Ability to work unsupervised.A high level of mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop on a diverse range of skills.Good communications skills, both written and oral.Sound computer skills.Experience with communicating with landowners and occupiers.The Verbrec brand represents our evolution and continued growth by leveraging emerging techniques and technologies for the benefit of our clients.
