The position We are currently seeking an energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic Pipeline E&I Technician on a full-time permanent basis for Verbrec's Dalby Team. We prefer for the candidate to be based in Dalby, no fly in fly out/ drive in drive out. Reporting to the Pipeline Supervisor - Dalby, the purpose of the role is to safely and efficiently execute field services works for Verbrec's operated pipelines and external clients alike. These services include: Cathodic Protection Surveys, DCVG Surveys, PLC Fault finding and programming, Non Fiscal equipment calibrations, Meter validations, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning of pipelines and associated facilities: To the highest level of safety, environment, community & stakeholder requirements. To meet agreed quality, operability, schedule, and cost targets; and In strict accordance with the relevant statutory & regulatory guidelines. About You Certificate III in process plant operations or CP 1 - Cathodic Protection Tester – NACE. (Desirable) An equivalent trade certificate – Cert III in Electro Technology Experience within the gas industry will be highly regarded specifically in the areas of Electrical, instrumentation, PLC, Meter Validations, and EEHA Experience within the gas industry be highly regarded specifically in the areas of pipeline inspection and maintenance. A safety-first approach. Experience working in remote areas. Ability to work unsupervised. A high level of mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop on a diverse range of skills.
