As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.What's on Offer3:1 roster, FIFO to Karratha with direct flight from Perth or BrisbaneFly home the morning of your 21st day, paid at ordinary!RDO is accrued - choose to have it paid during RNR or at the end of your contract$47.30 per hour base rate$1.88 per hour tradesperson allowance (bringing base to $49.18 + penalties)$5.40 per hour site allowanceSeverance payment of 2 x base hourly rate per weekWeekly pay!About the RoleReporting to the Piping Supervisor, you will be responsible for:Read and interpret Isometric drawings.Site measure and fit large bore and small-bore pipe.Work to Bechtel piping procedures and tolerances.Installation of pipe supports.Complete Flange Management and ITR'sWork with supervision and engineering to complete IWP'sQualifications and Skills:Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in a similar positionExperience reading isometric drawings and use of P&IDsPrevious experience using clamshell and oxy cuttingAustralian recognised fabrication or fitting trade certificateWhite CardPre-employment medical screeningAdditional Information:This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
