This role will see you working at Garden Island Defence Precinct ensuring naval and commercial ships are repaired and serviced to meet the quality and safety standards required.The RoleYour role will involve the following, but not limited to:Manufacture and installation of pipework in relation to ship repair in both a workshop environment and aboard all types of vessels and buildings with the use of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals in support of the Naval business, in a multi resources team, throughout various environments.Working with pipe systems for heating, hot water and cooling.Primarily working with pipes and valves on the vessels and fabricating in the workshop.Essential Experience & QualificationsYou will be required to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance.
