01st December, 2024 PIMS Group is an experienced underground mining contractor specialising in underground coal projects.

We have a proud history of developing long term relationships with our clients and invite skilled, competent and dedicated mining professionals to join our team.

PositionsPIMS Group are in search for experienced and committed Plumbers to support one of our long-term Underground Mining Contractors with their Township Maintenance Services team.

Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidates will have but not limited to:
An Australian recognised trade qualification in Plumbing (Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent).
Proven experience as a qualified plumber in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
Expertise in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including water, drainage, and gas.
Familiarity with plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe cutters, threaders, and testing equipment.
A current White Card (Construction Induction Training) and a valid manual driver's license with reliable transport.
A Queensland Gas Work License (for gas-fitting roles) or willingness to obtain one.
Experience in gas-fitting, including installing, servicing, and repairing gas appliances and systems.
Knowledge of Australian Plumbing Standards and compliance regulations.
A solid understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) standards and practices, with a focus on safe work methods.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and supervisors.
A willingness to adapt to new techniques and tools, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
