THE OPPORTUNITY:
The purpose of the Market Analyst is to support the delivery of company strategic objectives through a combination of lithium market analysis, insights, and reporting.
Reporting to the Group Manager, Commercial this role will be responsible for collating and dissecting data, reporting on competitor and industry intelligence, product pricing, forecasting market outlooks, industry trends, macroeconomic influences and providing recommendations to maximise value to the business.
This is a permanent full-time role based at our beautiful West Perth office, near the City West train station.
THE ROLE:
Responsibilities include:
Internal reporting of industry market intelligence including stakeholder performance analysis, supply chain mapping, industry benchmarking, stakeholder developments, trade analysis, government policy and macroeconomic influences. Evaluation of industry trends, competitive position, and industry stakeholder relationships to identify value-add opportunities. Support development and reporting of internal forecasts in relation to lithium pricing, supply and demand, and industry trends. Develop and maintain strong industry stakeholder relationships. ABOUT YOU:
Formal tertiary qualifications in either an engineering, science or business discipline. A post graduate professional qualification is highly regarded. At least 3+ years' experience within the lithium industry with an in-depth knowledge of the lithium industry and global market trends. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional negotiation skills. Ability to effectively manage interpersonal relationships across multiple functions in a diverse work environment. Proficient in conversing in Mandarin is highly regarded. WHAT WE OFFER:
