We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and fast learning person to join our Operations Team. You will be joining a team of operations and forklift specialists who are responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching vehicles within our busy branch. This is a full-time, ongoing position, working Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 4:30pm. In this role, we are looking for someone with high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for change.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Coordinate, monitor and record stock departures and deliveries to the branch from the gatehouse Control public access to the facility Book-in a range of assets by taking photos, entering descriptions and details onto our user-friendly auction system Locate, move (using a forklift), and record the movements of all assets Conduct daily prestart forklift checks, weekly detail and maintenance checks, and complete forklift logbooks to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner. Load/unload trucks of assets efficiently to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner. Ensuring all relevant documentation relating to the movement of assets is correct prior to release. ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
Current, valid manual driver's licence (essential) Current, valid forklift licence (essential) - HR licence desirable but not essential Ability to use an iPad with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail A strong commitment to safety Excellent customer service skills with good verbal and written communication skills Able to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines Ability to work as part of a team WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
