Overview: We are seeking a skilled and organized Warehouse or Logistics Administrator to support an Iconic global company in the Logistics industry.
The ideal candidate will have experience in efficiently managing the flow of goods within the warehouse, handling dispatch operations, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Proficiency in receiving goods, preparing delivery paperwork, and utilizing SAP or similar systems is highly desired.
Responsibilities: Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and invoices.
Inspect goods for damages and discrepancies, documenting any issues as necessary.
Organize received items in designated storage areas, ensuring proper inventory management May be required to assist with generating shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation for outbound shipments.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all paperwork and system data related to shipment Coordinate with drivers and couriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods.
Order processing - assist entering customer orders and freight movement requests into SAP.
Requirements: Previous experience in warehouse logistics, dispatch, or a related field.
Familiarity with receiving goods, preparing delivery paperwork, and coordinating shipments.
Proficiency in SAP or similar inventory management software highly preferred.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers.
Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and inventory management.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
The role is urgent start, hours are 6am-2pm Saturday and Sunday on-going.
If successful, training will be Thursday to Monday until competent and comfortable, and then will be just Saturdays and Sundays on-going.
As this is a weekend role, penalty rates apply for Saturday and Sunday.
