About the role We are on the lookout for a Team Leader to play a pivotal role in leading a small team of Insurance Claims Consultants in our National Insurance Services team based in Southport, Gold Coast. This role is a full-time permanent position. Reporting to the General Manager – Insurance Services, you will be responsible for overseeing a substantial portfolio and managing a team who are processing our body corporate clients' insurance claims.
Objectives Lead and manage the Insurance Claims team. Motivate your team and foster a collaborative environment, while effectively managing workflow and workload distribution. Leverage your business acumen and leadership skills to ensure the team delivers exceptional service, fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Oversee the claims process for all portfolios. Create and build relationships with Strata Managers, Committee Members and Insurance Brokers. Drive positive changes within the Insurance Services area. This includes spearheading projects and initiatives designed to simplify, automate, and grow our services. About you Ideally you will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role in the insurance or strata industry, but if not, the right attitude and willingness to learn and grow will set you apart from the rest! You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thinking outside the box! Proven ability to inspire and lead a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
