About the role: An opportunity exists for a Physiotherapist in the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service, Goulburn Valley (VPRS-GV). VPRS-GV is a specialist assessment and treatment service for children and adolescents who, as a result of injury, illness or functional impairment, will benefit from a developmentally appropriate, time-limited, goal-focused, multidisciplinary rehabilitation program.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of paediatric physiotherapy practice in sub-acute and community settings, and be able to demonstrate the ability to provide a family centred service within a rural health setting. The position is suitable for an experienced grade 2 physiotherapist; however, grade 1 clinicians with a minimum of 2 years' experience are encouraged to apply!
The successful applicant will have: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Physiotherapy Board of AustraliaDemonstrated specialist expertise and skills in management of children and adolescents with acquired brain injury, musculoskeletal issues and dysfunction and congenital or developmental based conditions with functional impairmentDemonstrated knowledge of paediatric rehabilitation principles and the importance of providing a Family Centred serviceCurrent driver's licenseIf you are seeking full-time employment, the role may be able to be combined with other vacancies; please contact the Regional Coordinator to discuss.
