Deliver high level Physiotherapy assessment, case management, consultancy and intervention working in a secondary contact role for patients referred in the Emergency Department to facilitate optimal patient outcomes and efficient patient flow.An opportunity has become available for several Physiotherapists - Senior (Emergency) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willDeliver high level physiotherapy clinical services as part of a multi-professional team, to patients of the Emergency Department.Initiate, develop, implement and evaluate quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of physiotherapy services with particular reference to emergency services.Contribute to the capacity of the physiotherapy service to ensure appropriate levels of resource allocation and service delivery across service streams by participation in relief and after-hours service provision.Actively pursue further relevant professional development and contribute to the development and delivery of clinical education and training programs for physiotherapy and other staff and students.About youTo be successful in this position you will require:Possession of a tertiary degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution.AHPRA Registration.Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).Permanent part-time (several part-time positions, hours negotiable).Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour.About UsThe Gold Coast Health Physiotherapy Department services the Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital and the Robina Health Precinct.
