The Opportunity As a part-time Physiotherapist, you will be providing care to Australians wherever they call home, this could be working across a mix of community care and residential aged care.
This is a great opportunity for you to have variety in your caseload which will allow you to utilize your skills and grow as a health professional with the support of our senior clinicians. In this role, you will be committed to supporting and guiding clients to help them achieve their goals and ultimately to help them live their best lives. You will support clients via:
Community Private services: supporting individuals with self-identified needs. Rehab in the home program: focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery Hospital in the Home program: supporting clients after hospitalization, including general surgeries Home Care Package clients: supporting those in our community who wish to remain independent at home Residential Aged Care: Complete assessments, including initials, reviews, post-hospitalization and fall Develop, implement and manage programs – group and individual: Facilitate Manual handling and equipment prescription This role suits a qualified, fully AHPRA-registered clinician who will love providing care in clients' homes autonomously with the virtual support of your Clinical Lead. This is ideally a 0.6 FTE position.
As a mobile practitioner you will need to be comfortable traveling to our clients located around Port Macquarie and as such provide your own vehicle (a kilometre reimbursement will be provided for this travel).
