Job Title: Physiotherapist- New or Recent Graduate – Cairns, Queensland.
Job Type: Permanent – Full time 38hrs, also open to Part Time for the right candidate.
Practice Information:
The practice provides community rehabilitation and disability services to people living with illness, injury, and/or disability to help them live a life they love. They deliver an interdisciplinary private pain group program which is rewarding and fun. The practice has an interdisciplinary allied health team of 13 clinicians who collaborate closely to maximize impact and help both clinicians and clients thrive. Team socials occur throughout the year, including options for partners and family to attend, celebrating wins inside and outside of work. They have a strong reputation built on quality, compassion, care, and a fun culture, focusing on teamwork, excellence, and innovation. They aim to bring out the best in team members, resulting in the best experience for clients.
The new, purpose-built clinic and therapy space is located centrally in Bungalow, just 5 minutes from the Cairns CBD, with plenty of free street parking available. Living in Cairns means short commutes (5-25 minutes), and great work/life balance is a top priority. They offer flexibility in work hours, with no early mornings, evenings, or weekend work.
Position Description:
The role of a Physiotherapist is to support the community in living a life they love by delivering high-quality healthcare that allows patients to achieve amazing outcomes. This involves formulating thoughtful and evidence-based assessments and developing, and where appropriate, implementing innovative therapy strategies that align with a person-centred care ethos, focusing on assisting patients in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence in various aspects of life. The team works collaboratively with existing systems and supports to maximize client outcomes.

Physiotherapy team working under one roof, alongside a clinical team of six exercise physiologists, two psychologists, and two occupational therapists, with in-person interdisciplinary clinical roundtables every fortnight.
Weekly formal clinical supervision (and ad hoc supervision) and administrative support to prioritize clinical time, supervision, growth, and learning.

Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation (AHPR) Agency.

Salary Information:
$80,000 - $100,000 per annum.
