Us Return To Performance Physiotherapy is an expanding private practice, with a focus on using the foundations of strength and movement competency to assist local athletes (both community and elite-level) and the surrounding community not only in injury recovery and prevention, but also in optimising their overall general health and wellbeing.
We aren't your average small Physio practice – we have the luxury of a 1000m2, fully-equipped strength and conditioning facility only metres away from our treatment rooms, thanks to the clinic being co-located within The Human Mechanics (THM) gym. This also offers the opportunity to work directly with the S&C coaches from THM to rehabilitate mutual clients, with their coaches boasting ASCA qualifications from Level 1 all the way up to Level 3.
At RTP Physio, we pride ourselves on providing evidence-guided and individualised treatment to all clients, incorporating modern technology into tried-and-true Physiotherapy techniques where appropriate. This includes use of objective, outcome-focused technology such as digital dynamometry and force plates (Hawkins Dynamics).
Led by Chris Adkins, an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist, our clinic is striving to be recognised as the premier provider of sports Physiotherapy throughout Central Victoria. Members of the RTP Physio team also have the opportunity to be involved in the Physiotherapy management of the Bendigo Spirit (WNBL) – the only national level sports team within the region.
You Have obtained a tertiary Physiotherapy degree (Bachelors or greater) – both new grads or experienced Physios are encouraged to apply.Interest in MSK and/or sports Physiotherapy.Physiotherapy philosophy anchored in active rehabilitation and function.Excel at both building relationships and communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.Want to contribute to a supportive, positive work and exercise environment for both your team and clients.A strong drive for professional development and continued learning - always looking to improve your clinical knowledge, whether this be in the realm of sports or MSK Physiotherapy.Keen to pursue a career in private practice.The role RTP Physio are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist, either a new graduate or an experienced practitioner, with a passion for improving client outcomes.
Key aspects/responsibilities of the role are: A caseload comprising of a mix of private and compensable clients, with referral bases from the co-located gym, local sporting clubs and GP clinics.Working with a diverse range of adult and adolescent clients – including athletes, post-surgical cases and even clients seeking lifestyle interventions.Developing tailored treatment and rehabilitation programs for MSK presentations, after a thorough assessment and diagnosis.Utilising both manual and exercise-based Physiotherapy interventions, including use of the co-located gym where necessary.Collaboration with S&C coaches for mutual client exercise program formulation and modification.Scope for planning and implementing special interest/specific client population exercise groups in conjunction with the team at THM if desired (eg. GLAD, NDIS, etc.).Networking and Growth: We encourage a proactive approach - build your own caseload through networking and developing relationships with local sports clubs, medical clinics and community groups.What else is in it for you?
