About the Role:
This not-for-profit organisation has been helping East Gippsland residents to live well for more than 40 years, and is one of the region's most high-profile health and support service providers with more than 550 staff and 300 volunteers. Their mission is to develop and deliver quality health and wellbeing services to the community in East Gippsland.
This position is part of the Paediatric Allied Health service - an integrated, multi-disciplinary team that consists of occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dieticians, physiotherapists, podiatrists, psychologists, art therapists and allied health assistants. The team supports families and delivers evidenced-based, goal-directed therapies to children under 18 years of age.
Responsibilities:
This is a well-supported position working with a dynamic team of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, allied health assistants and personal trainers in a well-equipped practice with a gym and access to an aqua therapy facility.
You will provide physiotherapy outpatient rehabilitation across specialty areas of practice including musculoskeletal, paediatrics, pain, chronic/complex conditions and/or neurological caseloads, with a strong emphasis on best practice, empowering self-management and hands-on approaches.
Services may be delivered in a variety of settings, including on-site at GLCH, in client's homes and via telehealth.
