Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week preferred.
This roving position is based at our Scarborough hubs and will see you support our home care consumers to assess individual capabilities, set realistic, achievable goals and implement interventions to optimise the individual's independence and function in their own home.
Your well-honed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills are easily demonstrated when you work in an inter-disciplinary team, as well as when making meaningful connections with aged care clients.
Key responsibilities include: Physiotherapy assessment and intervention across a range of programs;Implementation of physiotherapy plans through the application of appropriate therapeutic techniques for individuals or groups;Education and training, including clients, staff, and multidisciplinary teams;Responding to new referrals and changing needs of clients;Desired Skills and ExperienceTo ensure our consumers can get to work with you, it is essential you hold:
Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy;AHPRA registration;Experience within an aged care or a similar setting;NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain);Full working rights in Australia.While we do encourage Covid vaccination of our employees, this is not a requirement.
