Your Role
As an allied health professional, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. This is a great opportunity to work across a wide range of client bases - from needing help with basic equipment, through to home modifications to assist our clients to stay safe in their homes and live as independently as possible.
Your tasks will include:

Visiting community clients to assess and report on their current needs and devise a therapy plan
Clinical assessments and treatment of physical and neurological conditions
Assessing the home environment and prescribing aids, equipment and modifications as required, within funding program guidelines
Supporting clients in their own homes to work towards self-care development and/or reablement
Assessment of clients' mobility and control when moving in their environments

Role Requirements

Current Police Screening Certificate
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Current Queensland driver's licence
First Aid and CPR
Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
Good computer & mobile device skills
