About Us:We operate three private practices across Hobart – Northside Physiotherapy, Antill Physiotherapy and the Tasmanian Spinal Physiotherapy Clinic. Northside and Antill Physiotherapy are busy practices serving Hobart's northern suburbs and City Centre. We treat a diverse range of patients with acute injuries, age-related issues, and post-surgery rehabilitation. Both clinics offer active treatment programs, including Pilates, Kinetic Link Training, balance exercises, and hydrotherapy, with gym facilities available on-site. There is an opportunity to become involved in all aspects of our service delivery, including the potential to upskill in our specialist spinal service, which includes scoliosis management for both adolescents and adults. There will also be opportunities to attend relevant courses for your professional development.
We are currently seeking a like-minded physiotherapist to fill a vacancy at our Northside Physiotherapy practice, with the potential to become involved in the specialist spinal service if desired. Mentoring will be offered for new graduates.
About the Role:Key Responsibilities/Duties: Provide physiotherapy services to a wide range of patients, including those with musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative recovery, and sports injuries.Implement active treatment strategies aimed at promoting patient self-management, utilising programs such as Pilates, Kinetic Link Training, balance exercises, and hydrotherapy.Establish and maintain strong relationships with external referrers and case managers, ensuring clear communication through regular written updates.Use evidence-based objective measures to inform and guide clinical decision-making.Deliver consistent, high-quality care to all patients, ensuring optimal outcomes.Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge within the field.About You:Skills/Qualifications: Current full AHPRA registration is required.Active and current Professional Indemnity Insurance.Valid working rights in Australia.Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and physiotherapy assessment techniques.Ability to design and implement effective personalised treatment plans.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively with team members.Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.Commitment to ongoing professional development.How to Apply:Please send your applications and/or enquiries via email to ****** by close of business on the 13th December 2024.
