Physiotherapist role at NeuroRehab: Are you a Physiotherapist who is passionate about working with adult clients to help them achieve and celebrate their goals?
At NeuroRehab, we work with people with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, cerebral palsy, and a range of other neurological conditions.
Our clients are predominately NDIS participants with some motor accident insurance and my aged care-funded clients.
We're looking for a Physiotherapist with neurological experience to join our Hobart team on a part-time basis initially equivalent to 3 days per week with the ultimate goal to grow this to full-time over time.
Our team has access to our brand-new Hobart clinic based centrally in Moonah, allowing team members to provide both clinic and community services to support the clients best!
With this clinic being developed now you can even get a say into what equipment gets purchased for the facility.
Key Responsibilities Assess and implement tailored physiotherapy programs. Manage day-to-day client caseload to support goals and outcomes with a person-centred approach, promoting inclusion and new possibilities. Collaborate with a well-structured multidisciplinary team to provide holistic therapy (Our Hobart team currently consists of 3 OT's, 1 Speech Pathologist and an Allied Health Assistant). The Career Pathways we have developed at NeuroRehab allow team members the option between three different streams:
Management - Interests in leading and managing a team of therapists Education - Interests in students/supervision and in-service preparations Clinical Passion - becoming an expert in a specific treatment technique/s Requirements AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist 3+ years of Physiotherapy experience is ideal (but expressions of interest from those with less experience also welcome) Highly knowledgeable in a wide range of evidence-based physiotherapy Driver's license Internet access (for times you decide to work from home) Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working With Vulnerable People Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check. Full COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses) and Influenza vaccination Desirable Experience working within a NDIS framework.
