The NSW Police Force (NSWPF) is one of the largest police forces in the western world, with more than 20,000 employees, including more than 4,000 administrative employees who support the sworn officers that provide a range of law and order services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to the socially, geographically and culturally diverse community of NSW.About the roleWe have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to be part of our Health Safety and Wellbeing. The role is responsible for the provision of physiotherapy treatment to injured employees or those at risk of injury, and works as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating to deliver a cohesive and effective treatment program, with a focus on return to work to optimise employee recovery.Join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to keeping NSW Police Officers at peak performance. Working in the Treatment and Recovery Unit allows you to be part of a multidisciplinary team with 5 clinics located across NSW. Although working independently, you have the opportunity to collaborate with other clinicians within the unit. The role allows you to be patient-focused and facilitate rehabilitation from initial injury through to operational readiness testing and clearance to return to work. Due to servicing a large NSWPF regional area, service delivery will be a mixture of face-to-face and telehealth. This position will also allow you to demonstrate your exercise prescription and end-stage rehabilitation skills.
