The Role: We are currently working with our client to expand remote emergency medical capabilities in the Snowy Mountains, NSW.
As part of this initiative, we are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team to collaboratively deliver advanced level medical care to personnel involved in a significant construction project in an out-of-hospital setting.
As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for the provision and expert delivery of injury prevention and Physiotherapy services to team members.
You will deliver high-quality physiotherapy, occupational health services, wellness initiatives, and essential rehabilitation services to a diverse range of patients throughout the site.
You will also work within a multidisciplinary team alongside other medical professionals, including doctors and nurses.
This position offers flexibility, allowing you to work either on a Fly in Fly Out, or a Drive in Drive Out schedule, with a 14-day-on/14-day-off schedule for the right candidate.
Flights and accommodation are covered (Please note that if successful, the employee will be responsible for getting themselves to their nearest major Airport – some regional airports will be considered).
Key Responsibilities of the role: Conduct thorough assessments to identify musculoskeletal injuries and develop tailored treatment plans, delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions such as manual therapy and exercise prescription.Implement and oversee injury prevention programs, providing education and training on ergonomics and body mechanics to promote health and safety in the workplace.Collaborate with medical and health professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care while monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans to optimise recovery outcomes.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in physiotherapy.What are we looking for? Construction White Card.Pre-employment Medical.National Police Check (essential).Current registration with AHPRA and be in good standing.Minimum three years' clinical experience in physiotherapy.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Prior experience in remote site or industrial work on construction projects (preferred).The ability to work autonomously, as well as with a team.What can we offer you?
