As a Physiotherapist/Senior Physiotherapist, you will be delivering excellent services to our clients living with neurological conditions!07th November, 2024Exciting Opportunity: Physiotherapist Specialising in Neurological ConditionsMSWA is at the forefront of supporting over 400 clients throughout the South-West region living with a range of neurological conditions, including MS, Motor Neurone Disease, and Parkinson's. We excel in delivering specialised physiotherapy services focused on respiratory care, pelvic health & continence, and lymphedema management. Our goal is to empower our clients, enhance their quality of life, and minimize the impact of their conditions.Regular exercise is key to improving cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, and stamina for our clients. It also helps reduce fatigue, stress, and anxiety. Our service centres boast state-of-the-art gyms equipped to accommodate individuals with mobility restrictions and other challenges.Based at our vibrant Bunbury service centre on a permanent part-time 30hrs per fortnight basis, this role offers diversity and fulfilment, with responsibilities including:Designing, refining, and implementing assessments and interventions.Delivering tailored therapy, treatments, education, and training across our service centres, in clients' homes, and at external facilities as required.Providing mentorship and oversight to fellow Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Assistants, and student placements.Requirements:Bachelor of Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.Proven experience working with neurological conditions.Valid "C class" driver's licence with no restrictions.NDIS Workers Screening Check or readiness to obtain one.Current First Aid & CPR certification (we're here to help if you need it).This part-time position of 30 hours per fortnight presents a unique chance to contribute significantly to the lives of individuals managing neurological conditions.
