Learn more - Visit Hamilton About The Role: Our Physiotherapy department is seeking a Grade 1 or 2 Physiotherapist.
The role of the Grade 1 or 2 Physiotherapist is primarily one of clinical service provision of a comprehensive, client-focused nature to Acute, Aged and Ambulatory care clients of the WDHS facilities.
The role includes a wide range of rotations, as well as rotations at Regional Healthcare Facilities and Community Exercise groups.
Grade 1 Physiotherapists are supervised by a Grade 2 physiotherapist within their work area and will in turn have a variable degree of oversight for the allied health assistants and students, depending on their level of experience.
All Physiotherapists have a duty to maintain appropriate, accurate and timely clinical, attendance and statistical records.
You will Bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Analytical thinking to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassion and understanding toward patients' concerns and challenges Ability to work independently and as part of a team Collaboration with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care Commitment to providing culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings Physically fit to demonstrate exercises and perform hands-on therapy Current driver's licence Willingness to travel within the rural service area as needed What we can offer you?
