Early Start Australia is a national organisation committed to delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to children, young adults and families.
 
The Early Start team are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to work across clinics in Durack and Fannie Bay. This is a full-time or part-time position delivering services in their clinic space, at client's homes, schools and via telehealth.
 
What is in it for you? Report to the practice principal and work within a multidisciplinary team environment Provide evidence-based assessments and interventions Hold a mixed case-load across the full scope of paediatric conditions Develop tailored therapy programs Provide direct and indirect therapy interventions Work closely with key stakeholders providing information, education and support. Is this the right role for you? Degree in physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration An understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) people Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with ATSI people Experience working with children and/or disability is highly desireable National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker's Screening Check First Aid Certificate, Driver's License and vehicle. NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
