Our Emerald service is seeking someone who values contributing to rural and remote communities and creating sustainable outcomes with students and school teams.

As a school based physiotherapist, you can influence a child's achievement, develop your paediatric and disability skills while being mentored by our local and statewide professional team.

About The Department

The Department of Education employs over 120 physiotherapists to support students to be successful in all aspects of their learning.
We use our knowledge and skills to enable students to be healthy and successful across the full school experience.
From positioning in the classroom, to school swimming or going on camp, our physiotherapists are a key member of a student's educational team.

As part of the Central Queensland Region service, the Emerald team supports schools within Emerald and westward to the Queensland border, using both telepractice and in person service to deliver equity and excellence.
The position is based within a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and education advisors.
