Physiotherapist – Albury, Nsw

Details of the offer

SchemeWise Pty Ltd works across NDIS, Aged Care and Injury/Rehab sectors in the ACT and southern NSW regions. SchemeWise is expanding its services and is looking for new team members. This is an exciting opportunity with a well-respected, specialist, local provider offering a diversity of work.

SchemeWise is a professional service and rehabilitation business based in Albury, NSW and will service across the Albury/Wagga region. All our people work from home or an office location, travelling to our customers or providing teleservice appointments (as required). Travel arrangements apply and are paid per relevant scheme criteria. Regular supervision is a necessary part of working with us. Personal accountability toward completing work on time to meet requirements & quality outcomes is a must-have attribute.

Job Description You must live in the Albury NSW region (not Victoria), and you will manage a caseload of customers across aged, disability and community; work time can include standard and outside business hours time around your daily/family responsibilities. The ideal person is a self-starter, has preferably 3yrs+ work experience (overall) and has an interest in neurological / spinal cord / aging conditions (you will also work with other conditions) plus therapy delivery and exercise prescription. Our customers are generally people 18yrs or older with lifelong or acquired conditions or older persons. The role is primarily focused on customer therapy delivery and/or assessments and necessary associated reporting.

You will transition into this role over a short period of time, with a flexible start offered.

This is a contract position for 12 months, with a possibility for extension of up to 12 months to be determined on the basis of performance. There may also be the opportunity to convert to permanent full-time after 12 months. A minimum of three months probation applies to this position.

SchemeWise is very family-positive; this role may suit people with such responsibilities who might prefer to work more variable hours. Or, use us as a springboard – this position would also suit someone who is not yet ready to run their own business but wants to learn and develop toward this goal over a period of time.

You must have experience writing Aged Care, rehabilitation/injury and/or NDIS reports and working with the insurance sector. Previous experience with personal injury and neurological services is favourably considered. The role involves regular travel to people's residences and per scheme rules travel time is paid and included in total work hours. We offer in-house learning and knowledge systems for your development and a dynamic remote team environment of professional associates. We expect you will also participate fully in our practice of continuous quality improvement, contribute positively to business activity and services excellence.

You will work from home, travelling to customers generally. You will work a set number of agreed hours (weekly) in standard business times for customer-facing activities; however, all non-direct activities (e.g. report writing) can be undertaken at other times so long as deadlines are met. Attend the office for regular supervision, training and/or team events (as required). Be able to work a minimum of 21 hours each week. A minimum three months probation applies to this role. You must have: full AHPRA registration plus membership with APA relevant work clearances (NDIS, WWVP, WWCC, and/or police check) a reliable car with full insurance + unencumbered drivers licence a smartphone (Android 10+ or iOS 14+) a reliable broadband connection (12Mbps minimum) own physio equipment (portable table & minor consumables provided) own professional liability and indemnity insurance (or able to get) 3+ years minimum work post-graduation (continuous or broken) At least two professional referees and be able to provide their details must be an Australian citizen (we're unable to offer visa support) Remuneration: up to $100.00 per hour gross (incl superannuation) dependent on background and experience.
