An exciting opportunity exists for a Physiotherapist Advanced, to deliver advanced Emergency Physiotherapy Practitioner clinical services and clinical leadership to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) and Queensland Health, across a multidisciplinary team and at the service level.Emergency Physiotherapy Practitioner (EPP) Contributes to a 7-day extended hours primary contact musculoskeletal physiotherapy service within the Emergency Department at Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, delivering advanced practice physiotherapy clinical services and professional leadership.The SCHHS is a values-based organisation. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.Key Responsibilities include: Demonstrated ability to deliver an advanced level of clinical skill in one or more areas of a complex nature with the ability to independently apply specialist and novel judgement to meet the needs of patients across the continuum of care.Provide high-level clinical support and advice to staff within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) with the management and problem solving regarding clinically complex patients.Possess advanced clinical leadership abilities and facilitates the integration of services across specialties within a clinical area to coordinate the delivery of effective [discipline] services across the SCHHS. Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $167,588 p.a., comprising salary rates: $70.99 - $74.07 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Fixed term temporary positions available for 12 months, hours negotiable).
