Emphasising the importance of using assessment feedback to inform teaching, promoting cultural awareness, integrating ICT, and involving parents in the learning process. Creating inclusive environments, maintaining effective classroom routines, managing behavior, and holding high expectations for student achievement.Assessment and ReportingAdhere to college assessment policies, use feedback to improve practices, and apply various assessment strategies to evaluate student learning. Provide timely feedback and reports to students and parents, participate in moderation for consistent judgments, and maintain accurate records of student progress.Pastoral CareEngage in pastoral care and co-curricular activities, model Christian values, communicate respectfully with students, staff, and parents, maintain confidentiality, collaborate with specialists, and provide support to colleagues.Policy ImplementationThe role involves contributing to and implementing College policies in a developmentally appropriate way, ensuring student wellbeing and safety through adherence to school, curriculum, and legislative requirements. It also includes monitoring and minimising risks through the College's risk management procedures, promoting the safe and ethical use of ICT in teaching, and supporting the College's Christian ethos. Additionally, the role requires compliance with relevant laws, ethical standards, and regulations set by authorities and the College.Sport and Co-CurriculaParticipate in co-curricular and sporting activities both during and outside of College hours.
