We are passionate about photography and the ocean, and we are looking for a creative who shares that passion to join our team.Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Underwater and Product Photographer to join our team as we plan to grow after our launch of an innovative product line that demands exceptional visual content. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both studio product photography and underwater photography, with a portfolio that showcases their technical expertise and creative vision. This role involves overseeing all company photographic assets, setting objectives for photo assignments, managing our social media visual content, and contributing top-tier imagery to our website. The right candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our visual content not only aligns with our brand's aesthetic but also drives our marketing objectives forward.Key Responsibilities:Capture high-quality images in both studio and field settings, including product, lifestyle, and underwater photography.Maintain and organize the company's photographic assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly archived.Plan, organize, and execute photographic assignments, setting clear objectives and timelines.Edit and retouch images using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.Create and manage visual content for our social media platforms to enhance our online presence.Provide photographic content for our website, ensuring it aligns with our brand and marketing strategies.Managing photo and studio equipment.Develop and lead underwater photography workshops designed to share underwater photography skills with other people.Work closely with the rest of our team to develop creative concepts that drive engagement and brand recognition.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a professional photographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing both in-studio product photography and underwater work.Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.Strong understanding of photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and underwater housings.Experience in creating and managing visual content for social media platforms, with a particular focus on content that requires advanced underwater photography skills and an in-depth understanding of marine environments.Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for composition, lighting, and color.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team and clients.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to team members, clients, and the public.Desired Criteria:Familiarity with a wide-range of camera systems including Canon, Sony, Nikon, Leica and RED.Advanced open water scuba instructor certification and experience diving in a variety of ocean environments.Experience managing an underwater photography social media page.Strong marine science background.Experience running photography courses or workshops.Strong swimming/snorkeling ability.How to Apply:Send your resume, portfolio (including underwater photography), and a cover letter to ****** by 9am 11th October 2024Job Type: Full-timePay: From $70,000.00 per yearWork Location: In personApplication Deadline: 11/10/2024
