The role is for photographer + event assistant.
We are seeking someone who:
Must have experience in photography and have your own photography business/side hustle in photography. (eg: aspiring to becoming a wedding or event photographer)The role doubles as event assistant. You help us drive to the location, set up, deliver experiences, pack down and drive back. No experience at this is required, you can be taught, however you must be willing to move boxes/gear, be a good listener/learner and willing to get in and do hard work Please do not apply unless you have experience in photography and are working to get into the industry/develop your own photography brand/business
When trained:
You will start as an event assistant, trained and supported by a senior team memberWith training and support, you will be expected to learn to deliver small proposals by yourself About the Role The role will be based on the Sunshine Coast. Need to live on the Sunshine (to pack the van). We travel to SC, Brisbane and Gold Coast.

This type of work is perfect for an emerging photographer. You will spend active time capturing clients, perfect to refine your skills, knowledge and experience. We are also supportive in connecting you with clients to get into weddings, couples photography etc.
We are a family-owned business. We need someone keen to get into the hard work of events, is trustworthy, can get creative and works hard to produce magical experiences.
The role is a casual position, it may be any day of the week (pending your availability). It works perfectly when you have your own work/brand you are developing, as well as other casual work you may do. You would need your own work to complement it.
BYO photography skills, equipment and experience are expected
All training in delivering proposals is provided on the job, no experience required.
Starting training phase rate $30 p/h + super. Increases to $37 p/h + super for entry-level event assistant. Increased rate of pay for solo proposalsIncreased rate of pay for more experience/capability. Events typically commence setting up during the afternoon. Many proposals occur at sunset. Pack up occurs at night. Often late finishes.
