Based at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, PHE's Tumut operations undertakes small- and large-scale project work within the iconic Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Scheme. In this role, you will take complete control of the success of the project. You will demonstrate proven experience in a similar role and have the ability to deliver the project on time, whilst maintaining the great reputation the company holds with the client.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Managing all aspects of the project on-site including construction schedules, SEMPs, inspection and test plans, and outage plans. Undertake project-specific tasks as appropriate and directed by the Client and General Manager. Report task status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope, and quality, when required. Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology. Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities. Organising manning levels and associated requirements. Coordinating with the client on all work fronts, weekly progress meetings, and reports. Ordering of all materials and management of all subcontractors involved, ensuring contract compliance. Attend site as required for meetings and outages. ABOUT YOU: To be successful you must hold the following license and tickets: Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech. NSW Electrical licence. Working at heights (Completed in the last 18 months). Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months). Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's License. White / Blue Construction Card. The following are desirable but not essential: Diploma, Tertiary qualifications, or University Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline. Hold a High-risk work License with WP classification. You will bring the following skills and experience to the role: Self-starter with a great attitude towards safety. Enjoy problem solving and working collaboratively with others. Excellent Leadership and teamwork skills. Minimum 3 years proven capability and experience in all aspects of Project Management. Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams and Excel. Experience in the use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera). Quality Management experience.
