PhD Scholarship: Hyperspectral Imagery and Deep Learning for GHG MonitoringThe School of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Griffith University is a leading institution dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation in the fields of computer science, information technology, and digital systems.Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a PhD candidate to a project focused on developing advanced methods for greenhouse gas (GHG) monitoring using hyperspectral satellite imagery and deep learning.The primary focus of this role is to develop and refine techniques for analysing GHG concentrations. This project includes data collection activities aiming to provide actionable insights for climate change mitigation strategies. Success in this role requires collaboration with industry partners, reporting weekly throughout the project's duration.QualificationsThe selection of applicants for the award of higher degree research scholarships at Griffith University involves consideration of your academic merit and research background.
